BOD, COD, TOC and TSS Reduction:

COD (mg/L):

  • Chemical Oxygen Demand
  • Indicates total measurement of all chemicals in wastewater to be oxidized
  • Measures amount of oxygen bacteria consume to degrade all chemicals

TOC (%):

  • Total Organic carbons
  • Measurement of organic compounds

BOD (mg/L)

  • Biological Oxygen Demand
  • Measures the amount of food (or organic carbons) that bacteria can oxidize
